Our Purpose

At Earth Goddess Rising, we believe that shared power is multiplied power. We are dedicated to supporting women and building our community, particularly in these times of global uncertainty, fear, and isolation. Our retreats serve as sacred spaces for healing mind, body, and spirit through nature, spiritual exploration, and the wisdom of Goddess archetypes. 

 

We are devoted to providing a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for all participants. To preserve the integrity and intention of our gatherings, the following community guidelines must be honored:

• Respect and Kindness: Treat every participant with the same respect and kindness you wish to receive. Harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable at any time, please notify the retreat facilitator in private so we may address the concern promptly and discreetly. 

• Agree to utilize non-violent communication methods if there are disagreements or discordance in group dynamics. For more info, click here: 

• Buddy System for Safety: To promote group cohesion and ensure safety, we encourage participants to travel with a buddy when exploring outside retreat grounds and when traveling. Please inform a team member of your whereabouts and expected return time.

• Health and Fitness: Participants must be in reasonably good health and capable of participating in moderate physical activities, such as walking or light hiking. For the well-being of the group, we require that attendees be free of cold, flu, or other contagious illnesses.

• Travel Insurance: *Proof of valid travel insurance is required for all participants traveling internationally and must be submitted before departure. For domestic travel, we highly recommend travel insurance, but it isn't required. 

• Substance Use Policy: As part of fostering a sacred and clear space for spiritual growth, we ask that you refrain from bringing alcohol or illegal substances to our retreats. If you choose to consume alcohol during designated meals or leisure times, we ask that you do so responsibly and with consideration for the group environment.

• Participation & Presence: Retreat experiences are meant to be shared. Participants are expected to attend group workshops and activities. We ask that you come with an open heart, a willingness to participate, and a spirit of non-judgment, honesty, and mindful communication.

• Scent Sensitivity: Out of respect for individuals with allergies or sensitivities, we kindly ask that you refrain from wearing heavy perfumes or scented body products.

Disclaimers

• Medical Considerations – Earth Goddess Rising and its facilitators do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always- consult your physician before beginning any physical activity, including yoga and hiking.

• Physical Readiness – If you are over 65, or if you have an underlying health condition, please consult your healthcare provider before participating in any strenuous activities and make sure the tour or event is suitable for you physical fitness level before booking. 

 

Refund & Credit Policy

We kindly ask that you read and understand our refund and cancellation policy before booking, as this helps us preserve the integrity of our experiences and provide clarity for all participants.

Participant-Initiated Cancellations

We understand that life can be unpredictable. While all sales are considered final for tangible items and services, we offer the following tiered policy for Retreats:

• Cancellations made 90 days (3 months) before the retreat date are eligible for a refund, minus administrative fees of $164.8 or 20% of the total price.  

• Cancellations made between 60 days (2 months) before the retreat may be eligible for a transferable credit valid for up to 36 months (3 years), to be applied toward a future retreat.

• Cancellations within 30 days of the retreat start date are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your booking to another eligible participant or inquire about rescheduling to a future retreat, pending availability.

International Tours & Travel Packages:

Please note* that due to the need to secure lodging and transportation through non-refundable deposits, we are unable to offer refunds for international group travel. However, we are happy to provide a credit that can be applied toward a future group tour or event of your choice of equal or lesser value.

Organizer-Initiated Cancellations

In the rare event that Earth Goddess Rising LLC must cancel or postpone a retreat (due to natural disasters, public health concerns, or logistical conflicts), participants will be offered a choice:

• A full transfer of your payment to another retreat or event of equal value, or

• A full refund (excluding any third-party booking or transaction fees).

Please note that Earth Goddess Rising (EGR INTL LLC) is not responsible for travel costs such as flights, hotel bookings, missed work, or other expenses incurred in preparation for a retreat. We highly recommend securing comprehensive travel insurance as soon as possible to reimburse you in the event of unforeseen illness, travel disruptions, or other emergencies.
