EARTH GODDESS RISING
Tour & Event Terms & Conditions
EGR INTL Tour & Event Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: September 13, 2026

Welcome to Earth Goddess Rising. Our journeys are designed to bring people into meaningful connection with landscapes, cultures, history, nature, creativity, and one another. Because our tours and retreats involve advance commitments to accommodations, transportation providers, guides, venues, activities, and other suppliers, registration creates financial commitments that may not be recoverable.

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before registering for an Earth Goddess Rising tour, retreat, gathering, or other event. By registering for an event and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Registration and Acceptance
Registration is confirmed when Earth Goddess Rising receives the required registration information and applicable deposit or payment.
A registration is not considered confirmed until the required payment has been successfully received.
By completing registration, the customer agrees to:
-
These Terms & Conditions
-
The specific terms provided for the event being booked
-
Applicable payment deadlines
-
Applicable cancellation and transfer policies
-
Any reasonable rules or requirements provided for the particular destination, accommodation, activity, or event

Additional event-specific terms may apply and will be provided to customers when applicable.
2. Tours and Event Pricing
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
The published price includes only the items specifically identified as included in the particular tour or event description.

Items not specifically listed as included are the customer's responsibility.
These may include, depending on the event:
-
Airfare
-
Travel to and from the departure location
-
Passport or visa expenses
-
Travel insurance
-
Meals not specifically included
-
Personal purchases
-
Optional excursions
-
Baggage fees
-
Transportation not specifically included
-
Additional accommodations caused by a customer's personal travel changes
-
Other personal expenses
Earth Goddess Rising reserves the right to correct obvious pricing or typographical errors.
3. Deposits and Payment Schedule
A Reservation Deposit is required to secure a customer's place at an event when specified. A non-refundable $350 reservation deposit is required to secure a customer's place on an Earth Goddess Rising Tour. This deposit helps cover advance commitments and administrative costs associated with reserving accommodations, transportation, activities, guides, and other services on behalf of the customer.

The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment schedule established for that particular event. Customers are responsible for making all required payments in full 60 days prior to departure (no exceptions).
Failure to make a required payment may result in cancellation of the customer's registration and loss of amounts previously paid, subject to the applicable cancellation terms.

Earth Goddess Rising may offer payment plans for selected events. Payment-plan arrangements do not change the customer's total financial obligation.
4. Customer Cancellation, Refund & Credit Policy
This policy exists because Earth Goddess Rising makes advance financial commitments to suppliers and service providers, many of which are non-refundable.

A customer's inability to attend does not automatically create a right to a refund. Refunds are not available for no-shows. Customers are strongly encouraged to purchase appropriate travel insurance that may provide coverage for eligible cancellation or interruption circumstances.

Earth Goddess Rising understands that plans can change. At the same time, our tours require us to make advance financial commitments to accommodations, transportation providers, guides, activities, venues, and other suppliers. Our cancellation policy is designed to balance flexibility for our travelers with the financial commitments required to operate our journeys.

Non-Refundable Reservation Deposit
A $350 non-refundable reservation deposit is required to secure a customer's place on an eligible Earth Goddess Rising tour or event. If the customer cancels, the $350 is retained and any additional refund or credit is handled according to the event's cancellation terms.

Written Cancellation Required
All customer cancellation requests must be submitted to Earth Goddess Rising in writing.
The effective cancellation date will be the date EGR receives the written cancellation request.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their cancellation request has been received and acknowledged by Earth Goddess Rising.

Cancellation Within 90 Days of Booking
A customer who cancels within 90 calendar days of the date their tour reservation is secured may request a refund of payments made toward the tour, less the $350 non-refundable reservation deposit.
The customer must submit their cancellation request to Earth Goddess Rising in writing within this 90-day period.

Once the 90-day booking cancellation period has expired, the customer is no longer eligible for a refund under this provision.

Cancellations After the Initial Refund Period
After the first 90 days from the date a reservation is secured, customers who cancel more than 90 days before the scheduled departure date may receive a refund equal to 50% of payments made, less the $350 non-refundable reservation deposit.

Customers may also request a transfer or credit toward a future eligible Earth Goddess Rising event. Any credit or transfer is subject to availability and the terms established by Earth Goddess Rising at the time of the request.
Cancellations Within 90 Days of Departure
Once a tour is within 90 days of the scheduled departure date, refunds and credits are no longer guaranteed. No refunds will be issued for customer-initiated cancellations made within 90 days of the scheduled departure date.

5. Travel Insurance
Because circumstances can arise that prevent a customer from traveling, Earth Goddess Rising strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance at the time of booking. We require our participants to carry insurance for international travel.
Customers should consider insurance that provides coverage for eligible trip cancellation, trip interruption, illness, injury, emergency travel, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Earth Goddess Rising's cancellation policy does not reimburse or cover circumstances that may be covered by travel insurance.

6. Cancellation by Earth Goddess Rising
If Earth Goddess Rising must reschedule an event, customers will be offered the choice to:
-
Transfer their registration to the rescheduled event; or
-
Receive a refund of eligible amounts paid toward the event, less any earthwise affiliate payments made.
If Earth Goddess Rising must cancel an event and cannot offer a suitable rescheduled date, EGR will provide registered customers with the available refund, transfer, or credit options based on the circumstances and any non-refundable supplier commitments.

Any Earthwise referral bonus, Earthwise credit, promotional credit, discount, or other non-cash benefit applied to a reservation is not refundable as cash. If such credit or benefit cannot be recovered or transferred, EGR will not be responsible for replacing that amount with cash.
7. Event Credits and Transfers
When permitted, Earth Goddess Rising may allow a customer to transfer their registration or payment credit to another person or another eligible Earth Goddess Rising event.
Transfers are not automatic and must be approved by Earth Goddess Rising.
Any difference in price between events remains the responsibility of the customer.

A transfer may also be subject to administrative costs or restrictions imposed by suppliers.
Credits are not redeemable for cash.

Credits may have an expiration date or other restrictions, which will be communicated when issued.
8. Customer-Initiated Changes
Customers are responsible for costs resulting from personal changes to their travel arrangements.
This may include changes to:
-
Arrival or departure dates
-
Flights
-
Transportation
-
Accommodations
-
Activities
-
Room arrangements
-
Extra baggage fees
-
Names on reservations
-
Other personal travel arrangements
-

Earth Goddess Rising will make reasonable efforts to assist customers with changes when possible but cannot guarantee that changes can be accommodated.

Any additional costs imposed by airlines, hotels, transportation providers, activity providers, or other suppliers are the responsibility of the customer.
9. Cancellation or Changes by Earth Goddess Rising
Earth Goddess Rising reserves the right to modify, postpone, reschedule, relocate, or cancel an event when reasonably necessary. If Earth Goddess Rising must reschedule an event, customers will be given the option to transfer their registration to the rescheduled event or receive a refund of amounts paid, minus any Earthwise Partner funds or credits already received.

Reasons may include:
-
Severe weather
-
Natural disasters
-
Transportation disruptions
-
Government restrictions
-
Political or civil conditions
-
Health or safety concerns
-
Supplier cancellation
-
Changes in access to sites or activities
-
Insufficient registration
-
Acts of God or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Earth Goddess Rising
10. Extraordinary Circumstances (Force Majeure)
Sometimes circumstances beyond anyone's reasonable control can make it impossible, unsafe, or impractical to operate a planned tour or event.

Earth Goddess Rising is not responsible for losses, delays, additional expenses, or changes caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control. Customers remain responsible for maintaining appropriate travel insurance for circumstances that may affect their ability to travel.

Such circumstances may include:
-
War or threat of war
-
Terrorism or civil unrest
-
Natural disasters
-
Severe weather
-
Wildfires
-
Flooding
-
Earthquakes
-
Pandemics or epidemics
-
Government restrictions
-
Border closures
-
Transportation disruptions
-
Strikes
-
Supplier failures
-
Acts of God
-
Other extraordinary circumstances beyond EGR's reasonable control
When such circumstances occur, Earth Goddess Rising will make reasonable efforts to protect the interests of our travelers and communicate available options. Depending on the circumstances, this may include rescheduling the event, transferring a customer's registration, issuing a credit, or providing a refund of amounts that EGR is able to recover from its suppliers. Earth Goddess Rising cannot guarantee recovery of every amount paid when an extraordinary event occurs, this is why we recommend travel insurance.
11. Travel Insurance
Earth Goddess Rising strongly recommends that customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance immediately after registration. We require proof of travel insurance prior to departure for international tours.
Customers should consider coverage for circumstances including:
-
Trip cancellation
-
Trip interruption
-
Medical emergencies
-
Emergency evacuation
-
Lost or delayed baggage
-
Travel delays
-
Missed connections
-
Illness
-

Other covered circumstances

Earth Goddess Rising does not provide travel insurance. Customers are responsible for understanding the coverage, exclusions, limitations, and claim procedures of their chosen insurance policy.
12. Passports, Visas, and Travel Documents
Customers are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required travel documents.
Depending on the destination, this may include:
-
Valid passport
-
Visa
-
Entry authorization
-
Vaccination or health documentation when legally required
-
Driver's license
-
Other identification or travel documents

Earth Goddess Rising may provide general destination information, but the customer is ultimately responsible for determining and satisfying their own legal entry and travel requirements.
13. Health, Fitness, and Personal Responsibility
Customers are responsible for honestly evaluating their ability to participate in the physical activities included in an event.

Some Earth Goddess Rising experiences may involve:
-
Walking
-
Hiking
-
Uneven terrain
-
Stairs
-
Beaches
-
Outdoor environments
-
Heat or cold
-
Boat travel
-
Swimming or water activities
-

-
Remote or rural locations

Customers should consult an appropriate medical professional regarding their ability to participate when they have concerns about physical activity or travel.

Customers are responsible for informing Earth Goddess Rising of relevant accessibility needs before travel so that reasonable accommodations can be considered where possible.
14. Accommodations
Accommodations are based on the arrangements described for the particular event.
Room types, bedding arrangements, views, locations, and amenities may vary.

Earth Goddess Rising cannot guarantee a particular room, view, floor, bed configuration, or hotel amenity unless expressly confirmed in writing.

Shared Accommodations
When shared accommodations are included, guests are expected to be considerate of their roommates and fellow travelers. Guests who know they snore heavily or have other sleep-related conditions that may significantly disturb a roommate are encouraged to consider booking a private room, when available. Private rooms may require an additional fee.

EGR will make reasonable efforts to accommodate individual needs when possible, but cannot guarantee a particular roommate arrangement or prevent sleep disturbances.
15. Transportation
Transportation arrangements vary by event.
Earth Goddess Rising may use commercial airlines, private transportation companies, buses, vans, boats, trains, ferries, taxis, or other third-party transportation providers.
EGR is not responsible for delays, cancellations, schedule changes, lost luggage, mechanical failures, or other issues caused by third-party transportation providers.
Customers are responsible for following all transportation provider requirements.
16. Third-Party Suppliers
Earth Goddess Rising works with independent hotels, transportation companies, guides, restaurants, activity providers, venues, and other suppliers.

These providers operate independently of Earth Goddess Rising.
EGR is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, negligence, policies, delays, cancellations, injuries, property loss, or service failures of third-party providers except to the extent required by applicable law.
Where appropriate, EGR will make reasonable efforts to assist customers in communicating with a supplier concerning a problem.
17. Customer Conduct
Customers are expected to behave respectfully toward:
-
Fellow travelers
-
Local communities
-
Guides
-
Hosts
-
Drivers
-
Accommodation providers
-
Cultural sites
-
Sacred places
-
Wildlife
-
The natural environment
-
Earth Goddess Rising representatives

Earth Goddess Rising reserves the right to remove a customer from an event when their conduct creates a serious safety concern, threatens another person, damages property, violates applicable law, or substantially interferes with the experience of others.

No refund will be owed when a customer's removal results from their own misconduct, subject to applicable law.
18. Respect for Cultural and Sacred Places
Earth Goddess Rising often visits locations of historical, cultural, ecological, archaeological, or spiritual significance.
Customers agree to follow local rules and guidance regarding these places.

This may include restrictions concerning:
-
Photography
-
Touching artifacts
-
Entering restricted areas
-
Clothing
-
Noise
-
Food or drink
-
Offerings
-
Wildlife
-
Environmental protection
-
Customers agree to treat these places with respect.
19. Photography, Video, and Promotional Use
Earth Goddess Rising or its authorized representatives may photograph or record portions of an event for documentation, promotional, educational, or archival purposes.

By participating in an event, customers acknowledge that they may appear incidentally in photographs or recordings.

Customers who do not wish to be photographed or recorded for promotional purposes should notify Earth Goddess Rising in writing before the event and, when possible, identify themselves to the event leader.
EGR will make reasonable efforts to honor such requests.
20. Personal Belongings
Customers are responsible for their personal belongings.

Earth Goddess Rising is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or misplaced personal property except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Customers should maintain appropriate insurance for valuable belongings.
21. Emergencies
In the event of an emergency, Earth Goddess Rising and its representatives may take reasonable steps to protect the health and safety of customers.

Customers authorize EGR representatives to seek emergency assistance when reasonably necessary.
Customers remain responsible for medical, evacuation, transportation, accommodation, or other emergency costs unless those costs are covered by applicable insurance or another responsible party.
22. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Customers agree to contact Earth Goddess Rising directly as soon as reasonably possible if they believe there is an error involving a payment, registration, cancellation, or other transaction.
EGR will make a good-faith effort to investigate and resolve legitimate billing concerns.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive or restrict a customer's legal right to dispute an unauthorized transaction or other legally protected billing error.

However, if a customer cancels an event and the applicable cancellation terms do not provide for a refund, the customer is expected to contact Earth Goddess Rising directly to resolve any questions or concerns regarding the charge before initiating a payment dispute. A change of plans or decision not to attend an event does not, by itself, make a valid charge refundable when the agreed cancellation terms do not provide for a refund.

If a customer initiates a chargeback or payment dispute, Earth Goddess Rising may provide the payment processor, card issuer, bank, or other financial institution with relevant documentation, including:
-
Registration records
-
Payment records
-
These Terms & Conditions
-
Event-specific cancellation terms
-
Customer communications
-
Refund or credit records
-
Evidence of services provided
-
Evidence of the customer's acceptance of the registration terms
-
Other information reasonably relevant to the dispute

If a payment dispute results in a reversal of funds owed to Earth Goddess Rising, EGR reserves the right to suspend the customer's registration, credits, referral benefits, or participation in future events, subject to applicable law.
23. Refunds Resulting From Payment Disputes
If a customer receives a refund or credit directly from Earth Goddess Rising and subsequently receives a second reimbursement through a payment dispute or chargeback for the same transaction, the customer may be responsible for returning the duplicate amount to EGR to the extent permitted by law.

Customers agree to notify Earth Goddess Rising if they receive duplicate reimbursement.
24. Earthwise Partnership Program
Customers who register for an eligible Earth Goddess Rising event and pay the required deposit may automatically become eligible to participate in the Earthwise Partnership Program.

Earthwise allows qualifying customers to refer new customers to eligible EGR events and potentially earn a referral bonus.

Participation in Earthwise is subject to separate Earthwise Partnership Program Terms & Conditions.
Earthwise participation does not alter the customer's obligations under these Customer Terms & Conditions.
A customer may not use Earthwise referral benefits to circumvent cancellation, payment, or other EGR policies.
25. Event-Specific Terms
Additional terms may apply to individual tours, retreats, gatherings, or events. Any specific cancellation, refund, transfer, ticketing, or participation terms provided at registration will apply to that event.

Ticketed events (e.g. Earth-Song Gathering) may have separate refund policies, including non-refundable tickets. Please review the event-specific terms before purchasing.

26. No Assignment of Rights Without Approval
Customers may not sell, assign, transfer, or otherwise dispose of their registration, credits, referral benefits, or other EGR benefits except where a transfer is expressly permitted and approved by Earth Goddess Rising.
27. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Earth Goddess Rising is not responsible for losses arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control or from the acts or omissions of independent third-party providers.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

Customers are responsible for obtaining appropriate travel insurance and taking reasonable precautions to protect themselves and their property while traveling.
28. Assumption of Travel Risks
Travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to transportation, weather, terrain, illness, accidents, activities, food, wildlife, water, remote locations, and unfamiliar environments.
By registering for an Earth Goddess Rising event, customers acknowledge the ordinary risks associated with travel and agree to exercise reasonable judgment and follow safety instructions.
This provision does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
29. Changes to These Terms
Earth Goddess Rising may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version in effect at the time of a customer's registration will generally govern that registration, except where a later change is required by law or is mutually agreed upon.
Event-specific terms may supplement these general Terms & Conditions.
30. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions and the agreement between you and Earth Goddess Rising shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, except to the extent that applicable federal law or other mandatory law requires otherwise.

31. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
32. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with any event-specific terms, payment schedule, registration agreement, and other written policies expressly incorporated into the customer's registration, constitute the agreement between the customer and Earth Goddess Rising concerning the applicable event.
