Highlights
We begin our adventure in Izmir, gateway to the Aegean sea, where history whispers through the ruins of Ephesus and Bergama (ancient Pergamum). Walk along stone streets once graced by philosophers, healers, and priest/priestesses, and feel the energy of civilizations that shaped the world.
Our path then leads east to the ancient city of Hierapolis, where the white terraces of Pamukkale shimmer with mineral-rich healing waters. From there, we travel to the otherworldly landscapes of Cappadocia, a dreamlike realm of fairy chimneys and cave dwellings — with an optional sunrise hot air balloon ride that will take your breath away.
We continue onward to the majestic summit of Mt. Nemrut, where colossal statues of forgotten gods and goddesses stand guard over the dawn, before venturing to the mystical stones of Göbekli Tepe — the world’s oldest known temple and a place where human memory and myth converge.
